How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Society in general:
You should focus on a career that will make you rich, not what makes you happy. You can't have both. - My Family You should stay closer to home and not move away from home to finish college or pursue new opportunities. - My Friends
How I responded:
Focus on the goal of whatever is going to make you happy at the end of the day. You may have successes & failures along the way, but the goal is to learn from each opportunity and work towards overall happiness. Making money is essential, but it should not be the ultimate factor when you decide what opportunities you should follow. Your true Friends & Family will support you no matter what opportunities you decide to follow, but in the end it's all about you & your happiness.
