My path in life has been direct
1.
In high school, my strengths were in math and science, and I loved learning about new technologies.
2.
In my first year of college, I enrolled in engineering courses but explored other majors, as well.
3.
I enjoyed my engineering courses and clubs, so I chose to pursue a degree in mechanical engineering.
4.
I did a couple of internships to get an idea of what it is like to work in different industries.
5.
Applied to AT&T because I was interested in their technology development program.
6.
Received a job at AT&T upon graduating, and I'm now learning about new technologies and designing.

Joining engineering clubs was a great way for me to apply what I was learning in my classes. Doing internships exposed me to engineering processes being used in the "real world".
