I have not heard any discouraging remarks.
How I responded:
For me, I choose to do something that makes me happy and fulfillment. I haven't let anyone discourage me. People who are negative are removed from my life. I don't have the time or energy to deal with them. I am pleased with my choices. In the end, I only can make decisions about my life.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I struggle with physical deformities and chronic pain. I follow a regular exercise schedule to maintain energy. I wear special shoes to correct a leg length discrepancy. I take frequent breaks, and I know my limits.
