My path in life took a while to figure out
1.
Started at a large ad agency in Chicago to learn the fundamentals of the business.
2.
Left the agency to work in a more creative environment for the Discovery Channel.
3.
Came back home to Indiana to be with family.
4.
Got married and had kids - which made me want to work harder for them.
5.
Worked for a major public company but missed the smaller, entrepreneurial environment.
6.
Came to work for this agency and was able to buy it with my partner.

Advertising is not an honorable profession. Too risky. Too competitive of a field.
How I responded:
You have to follow your passions. It might not work out, but If you don't try, you will regret it for the rest of your life.

It is hard and risky to start your own business. But it is worth it.
