My path in life took a while to figure out
1.
Attended UCF to be an electrical engineer.
2.
Was put on academic probation at UCF.
3.
Changed majors to statistics and actuary science.
4.
Graduated from UCF in less than four years still. On the day of my last final was my first interview at Travelers.
5.
Started Working at Travelers on February 2016 as a claim handler.
6.
July 2016, I was diagnosed with cancer.
7.
February 2017, I came back to work after treatment ended.
8.
February 2018, started new role on First Party Medical team

Experiences and challenges that shaped me
Being diagnosed with cancer at 22 years old, 5 months into my job was very difficult. I was out of the office for 7 months going through treatment and doctor appointments. Coming back and having to learn everything again was hard.
