Life & Career Milestones

My path in life took a while to figure out

  • 1.

Coming into Cal State Fullerton, I majored in music, but ever since I had taken an intro to American Studies, I loved it so much I just had to switch majors.

  • 2.

After obtaining a teaching job, some were not fond of me as they were jealous of my creative and innovative ideas.

Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

No way is it possible for you to teach the students properly. You're too young to grasp the knowledge of what is needed.

  • How I responded:

Just keep your chin up, never give up, and keep trying no matter how hard it may be. Always take criticism humbly. If they are being negative, there is a good chance that they are just jealous of you.
