Earlier in my career, I had friends who were in different industries. They couldn’t understand the hours I was putting in. They were working 25-30 hours a week, and I was working considerably more than that.
How I responded:
I really had to buy into the idea that the firm was investing in me and that I was building a career that was going to pay off in the end. Otherwise I would have never done it.
